Crystal Hogue, MBA
Founder and CEO
Crystal D. Hogue is the Founder and CEO of CHM Bible Theatre, CHMBT, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that fosters faith-based arts, theater, and leadership programs.
This organization received an award in Chicago on Capacity Building from i2i, Institute to Innovate recognized by Governor Pritzker and the Lieutenant Governor’s office. Her mission is to orchestrate innovative and uplifting stage plays enriched by culturally sensitive educational youth programming. Through this platform, Crystal seeks to offer enriching theatrical experiences while nurturing essential life skills in students and young adults. At the helm of CHMBT, she ensures the seamless execution of high-quality productions for adults and impactful youth development programs annually.
Simultaneously, Crystal undertakes the role of Executive Director at Champaign County Christian Health Center, CCCHC, another 501c3 nonprofit organization. CCCHC’s mission is centered around embodying the love of Jesus Christ by providing comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality healthcare services to the uninsured or underinsured. In an all-encompassing approach, CCCHC addresses not only physical health but also mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Crystal recently received the Winding Ivy Community Award. for community impact. Crystal’s guidance and leadership ensures that the clinic continues to extend a helping hand to the uninsured and underinsured individuals in the CU community, delivering holistic healthcare solutions. She is also a board member of the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics as well as the organization’s conference committee chairman.
Beyond these pivotal roles, Crystal wears numerous hats. She is a motivational public speaker, author, and executive coach for nonprofit leaders and pastors through Crystal Clear Coaching, LLC. Her talents span from being a playwright, director, singer, and songwriter to a radio personality, Bible teacher, and speaker at women’s conferences. Crystal has cultivated meaningful connections with community, executive, religious, and governmental leaders across diverse spheres.
Crystal’s academic accomplishments include a bachelor’s degree in theology and a master’s degree in business administration, (MBA) specializing in business management. Holding a teaching license with the State of Illinois and an ordination ministerial international license, she has navigated roles in financial services, business administration, and management across fields like churches, healthcare, insurance, safety, and education. Through these diverse paths, she has effectively managed significant community projects and led large groups.
Driven by her unwavering commitment, Crystal directs her multifaceted talents towards positively impacting society. She encourages others to follow suit, recognizing that united can usher in unity, diversity, love, healing, hope, faith, and light even during challenging times. She is a happily married wife to Charles Hogue, a School Principal, and a devoted mother of three adult children as well as a licensed foster parent. Crystal epitomizes the transformative power of passion and purpose impacting communities through her God-given talents. Crystal is passionate about life, the Bible and believes God is the one who gives her wisdom to lead and to serve those in need.
